People usually engage in various day to day activities so that they can be able to meet the ends meet and be able to provide for their families. There are various types of jobs that people usually engages themselves in, the job ranges from executives position to the cleaning jobs and from the engineering jobs to the workers in the fields. The essay is about my father’s job compared to my uncle. My father did not attend school therefore he works in the fields and my uncle is a graduate and he is a mechanic and works with cars.
Firstly, both the job of my father and my uncle requires the use of physical strength. However, in my father’s case, he usually conducts al the duties of the work by himself with only the help of two workers, which in most case makes him feel exhausted at the end of the day. On the other hand, my uncle has employed some few workers and he only supervises what they do and instructs them on what particular parts that they ought to repair. Both jobs require a lot of involvement, but my uncle is not involved to a much greater extent compared to my father.
Another similarity between both of my father and my uncles is that they are both focused and sets their goals whilst conducting their jobs. Nonetheless, my father usually sets goal at the start of a planting period and he invests into the farm whilst anticipating that the plants in the farm shall yield and avail good returns. On the other hand, my uncle has operated in the car industry for approximately five years; as a result, he has established some customers who usually bring their cars for services on either a weekly or a monthly basis. Due to this factor, he is able to predict the monthly or weekly sales on services that he is going to make. As a result, he can be able to anticipate where the business shall be within some few months. Through this predication, he is also able to predict the number of employees that are going to be working in the garage and their pay.
Finally, I find both my father and uncle easy to work with. Although, my father’s work is more of a practical one where one has to actually run the machinery and be able to learn the period for planting and when to anticipate the harvest. My uncle’s job is more of a learning one, where a person has to actually understand the car movements, the pistons and when to notice when a car require servicing. We usually share great thoughts the permits one to avail their perspective on certain problems that the car might have. This usually makes a visit to the garage a very interesting one. I usually look forward to discuss both the mechanical job and the farming jobs with my father and my uncle.
Even though, both my uncle and my father are involved in works that requires a lot of participation and is more of a practical one, they usually make one to enjoy what they do. My father did not attend school, but what surprises me most is the fact that he knows when to plant, when the soil is either too acidic and what to apply to the soil. On the other hand, my uncle can just listen to the sounds that a car make and be able to know the repair that it requires. I love both the jobs since they are a lot of practicality that is involved. Both of father and uncles job might have similarities, but they are both very deference. Nonetheless, one thing that they have in common is that they are both great jobs and at the end of the day both families are provided for with their needs.
